Many thanks to all involved!
The project has been running very successfully for three years now. Initiated by Fimag, a Finsterwalde-based company that manufactures equipment for power generation and block-type thermal power stations, metal companies in masses, Finsterwalde and Sonnewalde have joined forces to give their apprentices a glimpse beyond their own horizons.
Together with IHK Cottbus, many other companies are committed to this great initiative:
- FIMAG Finsterwalder Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH
- Galfa GmbH & Co. KG
- Kjellberg Finsterwalde Plasma und Maschinen GmbH
- Antolin Massen GmbH
- Böllhoff Produktion GmbH
- PILZ GmbH
- Formteil- und Schraubenwerk Finsterwalde GmbH
- Kommutatoren & Schleifringkörper Finsterwalde GmbH
- voestalpine Wire Germany GmbH
“Trainees on a discovery tour” is the name of the project. Apprentices in their third year of training are given the opportunity to get to know other companies, get a taste of production and get their questions answered.
There is a very good response to this offer. During this week there were no less than three such events. Yesterday it was our turn to welcome trainees from other companies. And our conference room was full. A total of 12 trainees from different companies and one trainer found their way to us. Our former trainee Sabrina, who has been a permanent member of the Zemmler team for a few weeks, guided the guests through the small program. At first there was an overview of who we actually are, what we do, what such a double trommel screening plant actually is and what it is needed for. After the short lecture there was a tour through our production halls and afterwards even a machine demonstration.
We are really proud to be part of this great project. And we really hope that the tour was as much fun and exciting for our guests as it was for us. Many thanks once again to everyone who was involved in the planning and organization. We are already looking forward to the next tour!
