A high-quality product thanks to the Zemmler screening machine

Peter Christensen, the fourth generation managing director of P. Christensen & Sønner ApS in Denmark, received the MS 3200, a compact double trommel screening plant from Zemmler.

With this screening plant, the company, which offers a wide range of transport, construction and crane services, can now produce high-quality humus in various fractions.

The machine is extremely flexible. Peter Christensen also uses the machine for recycling construction waste to offer his customers super-stable concrete chippings with grain sizes from 0 to 32 millimetres.

Thanks to the large selection of exchangeable wire screen linings, he can also produce topsoil in a perfect crumb with the Zemmler double trommel screening plant. “The quality of the topsoil”, says Peter Christensen, “is of decisive importance for us”.

For this reason, the company has opted for a system which, thanks to the double trommel, can screen three fractions in a single operation.  This saves Peter Christensen one operation, which significantly reduces diesel consumption. Alternatively, CO2 emissions can be further minimized by the machine’s electric drive, which Zemmler uses as standard. The bottom line is that the result is a coveted end product of outstanding quality. This not only benefits the company, but above all the environment.
